May 2 (SeeNews) - Albania’s economic confidence index increased to 113.8 in April from 107.1 in March, the central bank said on Thursday.
The rise was supported by increased confidence in industry, services and trade, Bank of Albania said in a monthly business and consumer confidence survey.
The industry confidence indicator rose by 3.5 percentage points (pp) in April, while construction confidence inched down by 0.7 pp.
The services confidence indicator rose 8.2 pp in April to stand 22 pp above its historical average. The trade confidence indicator increased by 9.3 pp, standing 13 pp above the historical average.
The consumer confidence index increased 3.8 pp, standing 4.6 pp above its historical average.
