May 2 (SeeNews) - Croatian confectionery producer Kras [ZSE:KRAS] has proposed to pay a divided of 1.50 euro ($1.61) per share, the Zagreb Stock Exchange said on Thursday.
Following the proposal for dividend payment, the company’s shares have been put under monitoring, the stock exchange said.
Last year, Kras's shareholders decided to pay a dividend of 1.35 euro per share out of its net profit for 2022.
In a separate press release on Tuesday, Kras said that, according to unaudited results, its consolidated net profit for the first quarter of 2024 reached 1.45 million euro, 880,000 euro higher compared to the same period of last year. Its sales revenue rose 16.6% on the year to 43.95 million euro in the review period. First-quarter EBITDA rose to 3.95 million euro and was 930,000 euro higher compared to the first quarter of 2023.
In the same press release Kras said that according to its audited financial report for last year, the consolidated net profit of Kras group in 2023 stood at 6.66 million euro, up 1.82 million euro compared to 2022.
Its shares traded 6.67% lower at 112 euro on Thursday by 1335 local time on the Zagreb bourse.
