May 2 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip MBI-10 index of the stock exchange in Skopje closed at 7,281.88 points on Thursday, this week's last trading day, some 0.4% higher compared with its closing value of 7,251.14 points on April 26, bourse data showed.
Turnover on the official market of the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) dropped to 73.2 million denars ($1.3 million/1.2 million euro) in three trading sessions this week from 80.5 million denars in four trading sessions last week.
The bourse was closed on April 24 due to elections and May 1 for labour day. It will also be closed on May 3 and May 6 for the Easter holidays.
Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] contributed the most to the trading turnover on the MSE this week, as 1,762 of the lender's shares changed hands in 74 transactions worth a total of 31.8 million denars.
The MSE's OMB bond index closed at 124.88 points on May 2, unchanged compared to the closing value a week earlier.
