April 25 (SeeNews) - Most indices of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) retreated on Thursday, with the blue-chip SOFIX falling the most, by 0.21% to 815.26 points, bourse data showed.
The benchmark index was held back by farming group Agria Group Holding [BUL:AGH], which erased 3.32% to 18.95 levs, and diversified group Chimimport [BUL:CHIM], which slipped by 2.16% to 0.68 levs.
The declines in the two companies also constrained the BGBX40, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, and the BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight. The biggest loss in the BGBX40, however, was recorded by software and IT services group Bianor Holding [BUL:BNR], which dropped by 8.26% to 5.00 levs.
Overall, the BGBX40 index went down 0.18% to 165.46 points, while the BGTR30 dipped by 0.17% to 819.50 points.
A 0.59% tumble in Advance Terrafund REIT [BUL:ATER] to 3.38 levs dragged down the BGREIT. The index, which tracks seven real estate investment trusts, ended the session 0.12% lower at 190.36 points.
Meanwhile, the BEAMX, which tracks the ten most highly capitalised growth companies, increased by 0.32% to 96.30 points. The index was mostly lifted by a 19.88% surge in electric vehicle manufacturer Sin Cars Industry [BUL:SIN] to 0.398 levs.
Agria Group Holding was the day's top stock by turnover, generating 23,214 levs ($12,683/11,869 euro) after 1,225 shares changed hands.
Total turnover on the main market of the BSE grew to roughly 5.42 million levs on Thursday from 5.15 million levs on Wednesday.
